The room sees.
The robot acts.

STØK RoomSight is Physical AI for indoor spaces. We retrofit existing Stocksport lanes with cameras and our own software: every stock is measured, every game is scored automatically. It runs in a pilot at the club ASKÖ Sparta 67 in Linz. Next, the same cameras are meant to steer simple, low-cost robots.

Where we are.

Built with our own resources, before any funding: scoring runs on a real lane with four cameras, one edge computer, the hall display and the operator tablet.

  • 8,000–10,500Stocksport lanes in Austria and Germany (estimate)
  • €5,500per lane for the kit, plus a monthly software licence
  • ≈ 0.5 suntil the result of an end is final, measured on recorded games
  • 1 pilotrunning at the club ASKÖ Sparta 67 in Linz

Evaluated: 14 recorded games with 220 throws annotated by hand, replayed through the system (not a live match). The Austrian federation BÖE signed a non-binding letter of interest on 30 September 2026.

Business model

Hardware once, software every month.

Operators pay once for the kit and monthly for the software. They do not buy AI; they buy less effort, better events and new things to sell by the hour.

Market

Stocksport to start, robots for every lane.

Entry
Stocksport: 8,000–10,500 lanes in Austria and Germany; in Austria alone 73,122 members in 1,425 clubs.
Next
Robots for the lane: a collecting robot brings the stocks back, a second one is meant to set the target. The first prototype already exists.
Model
Robots as a service per venue, on the same installation. Still to be validated.

STØK RoomSight

The perception sits in the room, not in the robot.

The hall already knows where every stock lies, so a robot itself needs to see very little: it gets the job and carries it out. The cameras in the room see for every robot at the venue, so each robot stays simple and low-cost.

The collecting robot is a prototype, the target setter a concept.

Plan for the next twelve months

  1. Months 0–3Pilot versionStabilisation, operator workflow, installation and calibration, Robot 1 on the lane
  2. Months 3–6More pilotsFigures from live operation, pricing checked
  3. Months 6–9First paid lanes24-month contracts
  4. Months 9–126–20 lanesInstallation handbook, partner channel, support

A plan, not a promise. FFG funding for the research behind it is in preparation and not yet submitted: our own board, the collecting robot, tests on real lanes.

Team

Sport, business and the technology that already runs on the lane.
